TIMEstandard develops technologies for time determination that otherwise are used exclusively in space flight, aviation, and deep sea programs. by virtue of these technologies, our machines possess an extraordinary lifespan.
the exceptional choice of materials for casing is geared towards long-term application and unique haptics. the monolithic construction ensures a maximum lifespan and the greatest possible attenuation/decay factor. our machines are hand-crafted in switzerland in the zurich area through a process so demanding that 50-75% of the production is rejected. there is hardly any other product on the market that is made with such an elaborate construction.
TIMEstandard’s machines are designed according to the three fundamental rules of the special theory of relativity: time dilation: moving clocks run more slowly; length contraction: moving bodies tend to compress; and relativistic mass: the mass of moving bodies increases. for this reason, the driving potential difference of our machines operates at light speed, and our machines must be mounted in place to a wall.
in order to determine the periodic sequence of defined units from the shot gun sequence device, pulses are relayed through an electro-mechanical process (EMC, electro mechanical conversion) to our standardized display system. our timepieces are designed to work until the year 4095.
our machines are based on our proprietary developments. we do not follow a design-to-price strategy and do not assess our concept’s market potential. our sole aim is to realize that which is technically feasible. in so doing, we create a new standard for exotic precision clockwork mechanisms.
